DaBaby is struggling with criminal charges for a beatdown a male claims he endured for attempting to quit the rapper’s entourage from shooting a songs video clip on his property.
The rapper has been charged with felony battery by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Workplace … around an incident from early December past 12 months … which allegedly still left a dude, Gary Pragar, with serious accidents.
You can find another male named Thankgod Awute who’s currently being billed as well. Prosecutors claim he was DaBaby’s cohort in crime … they hit him with felony theft.
Pragar filed a lawsuit in February, claiming he was attacked for implementing standard residence rental regulations at his location.
DaBaby and his team rented a massive pad that Pragar manages in L.A. … and Pragar states he was advised it was likely to be a holiday location for DB and his buddies. Pragar claims he made apparent … there was a guest limit — no extra than 12 — which he claims DaBaby’s management group agreed to in a rental agreement.
All through their weeklong continue to be … Pragar suggests he turned conscious there had been way a lot more than 12 persons at the home at any offered time and complained to DaBaby’s crew … obtaining confident, falsely he states, that they wouldn’t be there for extended.
Ultimately, on Dec. 2, he states he paid a take a look at himself and understood they ended up capturing a music online video there with an entire film crew and a ton of other people all around — upwards of 40, he states — and Pragar tried to shut the complete point down by chatting to DaBaby.
That is when he promises he was attacked by anyone in DB’s crew, aspect of which was caught on video. He claims DB purchased the person off of Pragar, but then allegedly sucker-punched him in the facial area, knocking out his tooth … this, per the lawsuit.
Seems like Pragar went to the authorities right after this, and now they’re coming down really hard on DB and co. Tough handful of months for DaBaby — this is just the hottest incident for him in a string of seemingly nonstop hiccups.
BTW, Jake Paul was randomly at this shoot … and the online video appears to be one for an artist signed to DaBaby’s corporation, and he may possibly have just been cameoing. In any case, the video’s out.
